Lord of Glory

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(2 Cor. 4:6)

A young man hearing Stephen preach and observing his face was reminded how Moses' face shone after spending time in the presence of Jehovah (Exodus 34:30, Acts 6:15). Hearing Stephen testify prior to his death that he viewed Christ in His heavenly glory (Acts 7:55) must have impacted Saul who had his own impending appointment with the Lord of glory. May His glory also shine forth from us, helping others to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
