Seeing Christ's Glory

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me…may behold my glory… (John 17:9) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 4:6) …but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2)

In a moment in history the Lord Jesus prayed that all believers would see Him in His glory. Today we get a glimpse of God's glory when we behold the Lord Jesus by faith through His Word. These meditations propel us to offer up our sacrifices of praise and worship. In a future day, when we are transformed, the Lord's prayer will be fully answered when we gaze upon Him and see Him precisely as He is. Even so come Lord Jesus. Amen.
