It's not uncommon for some believers to continually grieve over forgiven sins. While the consequences may remain we ought to rejoice that God has completely removed them (Psalms 103:12) and remembers them no more (Isaiah 43:25). So let us spend our time usefully getting to know the One who did this for us. Let us seize the moment to worship and serve Him, allowing Him to prepare us for even greater service. Excessive regret not only steals from today but will also hinder our future. Beloved, choose instead to focus on Christ.

God has blotted them out, I'm happy and glad and free; God has blotted them out -
I'll turn to Isaiah and see: Chapter forty four, twenty two and three; He's blotted them out,
and now I can shout - For that means me!
